Board Approves Margin Allocation
As a member-owner you share in the earnings of your not-for-profit electric cooperative. The board approved allocating $519,387 back to the members as 2017 patronage capital.

Community Minded: Coming Soon - Operation Round-Up
In October Clarke Electric will begin a new program by rounding up our electric bill to the nearest dollar. If you do not wish to participate you must OPT OUT by calling or emailing the cooperative to let us know you don't want to participate.

Increasing Term Limits
One of your most important duties as an owner of a member-owned cooperative is to vote for your director representative. The board will place an amendment to the existing Articles of Incorporation requesting that director term limits be extended from five, three-year terms (15 years) to seven, three-year terms (21 years).

Safety Driven: Burning Ditches
Make sure when burning ditches or other areas, that a power pole is not in the path of the fire. Catching a pole on fire is a safety hazard and can cause unnecessary outages to our members.

2017 CIPCO Power Supply Report
2017 was a year of change for CIPCO as CEO Dennis Murdock retired and we welcomed Bill Cherrier into the fold as the new CEO.
