Statement of Non-Discrimination
Clarke Electric Cooperative, Inc., is the recipient of Federal financial assistance from the Rural Utilities Service, an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and is subject to the provisions of the Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as amended, and the rules and regulations of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which provide that no person in the United States on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, or disability shall be excluded from participation in, admission or access to, denied the benefits of, or otherwise be subjected to discrimination under any of this organization's programs or activities. Notice of Complaints
The Iowa Utilities Board requires that all non-rate regulated utilities post the following notice to its membership. If a member has a problem with his/her service rather than its rates, you can reach a representative of the cooperative at 641-342-2173 or 800-362-2154 between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. If your complaint is not resolved by your cooperative, you may ask for help from Utilities Division, Department of Commerce, 1375 E. Court Ave; Room 69, Des Moines, IA 50319-0069 or by calling 877-565-4450.
